Forkast is operated by ANICCA LLC. Forkast is a meal-planning app that builds a week of meals around your grocery budget and gives you one grocery list with estimated prices for the store you shop at. It is not professional nutritional, dietary, medical, or financial advice.

The deal

By installing Forkast and using it, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app.

Your account is your device

Forkast does not require an account. Your data lives on your device. You are responsible for the device on which you install Forkast.

Subscriptions

Building and viewing your weekly meal plans requires a Forkast Plus subscription. Forkast Plus is offered as a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription; the current price is shown in the app before you buy. The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you start a free trial, you will be charged the yearly price when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial). Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.

Apple's EULA

Unless separate terms are provided in the App Store listing, Forkast uses Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Prices are estimates

Grocery prices in Forkast are estimates. They start from a reference price for each ingredient and are adjusted for the store and region you choose. Real shelf prices change often and vary by location, sales, loyalty pricing, pack sizes, and substitutions, so your checkout total will differ. Forkast does not guarantee that a plan will come in under your budget at the register.

Food safety and allergies

Recipes are provided for general home cooking. Diet and "won't eat" filters are based on recipe tags and are not a guarantee that a dish is free of any allergen or suitable for a medical diet. Nutrition numbers are estimates. Always check ingredient labels, follow safe food-handling practices, and cook meat, poultry, fish, and eggs to safe internal temperatures.

What you own

Your answers, plans, and lists are yours. We claim no ownership of any content you create in Forkast and grant ourselves no licenses to your data.

What we own

The Forkast name, recipes, recipe images, writing, design, and underlying code are owned by ANICCA LLC. You receive a personal, non-commercial license to use the app while it is installed on your device and, for subscription features, while your subscription is active.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer the app, extract its recipes or assets to ship a derivative product, redistribute the app, or use Forkast in any way that violates applicable law.

Disclaimer

Forkast is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that Forkast will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ANICCA LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of Forkast is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Changes

We may update these terms when we ship new features or our practices change. Material changes will be flagged in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use Forkast after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
